The Indianapolis Star reported yesterday that Mr. Cyril E. Carter, age 59, a Marine, Vietnam veteran, and Purple Heart award recipient, passed away last week. Mr. Carter needed a low stress hobby after learning he had a heart condition. He started to quilt and specialized in baby quilts, and even entered his quilts into the State Fair.
