Black Quiltmakers of Southern California exhibit opens

"Black Quiltmakers of Southern California" is the name of the exhibit curated by Donald Bernard on display now through December 20, 2008 at the W. Keith and Janet Kellogg University Art Gallery on the campus of Cal Poly, Pomona, 3801 W. Temple, Pomona, CA, 91768. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday, 11am - 4pm and Saturday 12 pm - 4 pm. The 35 artists featured in the show include:

Ree Adams, Allyson Allen, Anne Batiste, Donald Bernard, Jacque Bordeaux, Inez Bradford, Sara Brandon, Mary Brewer, Earthlene Briggs, Cynthia Catlin, Olga Chachere, Clara Davidson, Sylvia Davis, Barbara Friedman, Linda K. Gardner, Josi Goldsby, Estelle Hamilton, Nadine Hegaman, Bernice Hilson, Lou Holland-Jones, Pam Johnson, Sharon Matthews, Carolyn Mayfield, Louise McGee, Rita Myles, Ethel Parm, Gloria Sanders, Cecil Session, Lois Smith, Rose Smith, Dorthy Taylor, Vivian Townes, Harriette L.
