I am glad you have taken up the mission of educating the world about the contributions of black quilters. It is also inspiring to see the accomplishments of black male quilters. I introduced quilting to my fourth graders. The boys were initially reluctant, but many developed a love for the art. I now have an example of a male quilter to share with them.

Gotta love Sims for his sense of comic relief I see that underlies his socio-political statements...I think its the influence of that up-south Blue Collar edge! lol
