A 44 year retrospective of Sistah Quilter Faith Ringgold works opens at the Thorne-Sagendorph Art Gallery at Keene State College in New Hampshire on Monday, September 8. The show is titled "African/American Influences: The Art of Faith Ringgold" and runs through November 23, 2008. Included will be Faith's story quilts, oil paintings from the 1960s, works on paper, and her soft sculptures - yes, both her masks and dolls! I have no word, yet, if there is a catalog for this show. Enjoy!
